Our Inspiration

We believe that a sustainable development which delivers simultaneously economic, social and environmental benefits can open up a new world of opportunity that is generally perceived to be nonexistent. The overarching principle guiding the TRUST is that the poor need not be perpetually steeped in poverty but rather be a prime engine of growth and a source of creativity and innovation. We strongly believe that they are the dramatis personae in the general order of progress and development. At the core,however, is our stated Mission that the concept of PURA as formulated by Dr.Abdul Kalam should be the bedrock on which to build our program of integrated development and a holistic future.

Once the three connectivities Viz, Physical, Electronic, & Knowledge connectivity are ensured, they facilitate earning capacity leading to economic connectivity. When we Provide Urban Amenities to Rural Areas(PURA), we can lead to upliftment of rural areas, we can attract investors, we can introduce effectively useful systems like rural BPO’s micro finance and small scale industries.
